The sleazy, crass Municipal League of King County -- putting it in "nice" terms -- has so far not asked me to participate in their "Rube Goldberg malarkey" this year. Usually, around this time of year or sooner, I would get an invitation from them when I'm running for local office. Naturally, after the way I was treated by them in 2015, I am hoping to get the opportunity to either ignore them or tell them "Hell no." But to give the devil his due, that organization did summon up just enough honesty to qualify me for the King County Council in 2009.
