Thank you to all of the supporters of this Common Man's/Basic Goals & Responsibilities campaign, as we have now entered the last day of the active phase of the campaign, and the election results will be announced and posted by the King County Elections Department around 8:30 P.M., today.
Just to remind everybody that just because today is Election Day in our local system's all-mail voting system, that doesn't mean that you cannot still mail your ballot or drop it off, today, at Federal Way City Hall (33325 - 8th Ave. S., Federal Way) where a King County Drop Box is located, or actually any Elections Ballot Drop Box throughout the county, including the King County Administration Bldg. in downtown Seattle (500 - 4th Ave., Seattle). So if you haven't voted, there's still time until 8:00 P.M. when the drop box system closes down.
To get your ballot postmarked by this date, most post offices in the county close down about 5:00 P.M., and U.S. Postal Service drop boxes vary dramatically regarding when the last scheduled pick-ups of the day are, so it's best to take your ballot directly to the Post Office before 5:00 P.M. or drop it in a King County/Federal Way Drop Box before 8:00 P.M.
