You Know That I'm Close To Victory When ...

... the Establishment works overtime to keep me out of the Council.

1. The mayor, Jim Ferrell, has a conniption fit when I tell the truth about his aide-de-camp getting me into the Council race, but as the Bible says, "the truth shall set you free."  Though when other candidates infer, but misleadingly so, that they have his endorsement, nothing is heard from City Hall.
2. An Establishment pundit tries the "Self-Fulfilling Prophecy" trick, without the benefit of taking a poll, of course, and predicts victory or placement for my opponents, apparently going by just the "virtue" of his "wisdom."
3. A handful of so-called civic organizations are trying the "Lucy With the Football" trick in regards to the Council election and me, but they're barely at .500, if that, so they are no Lucy. 
4. I'm still in it, and you know I'm close to victory when the Establishment is trying this hard to defeat me. Vote, today or tomorrow, please!  You have until the day of August 4th and ballots can be postmarked on the 4th.  Whether I make it to the General Election or not could well be decided by a handful of votes.   Thank you!
