From the Revolutionary War to The Long War of Afghanistan, thank you to the honorable United States military veterans who have served our nation, past or present, in war or peace, enlisted ranks or officers, male or female. As someone who first started thinking of our military history when watching the war movie, "The Longest Day," in 1962 (my mother sent me, her eight-year-old kid, off to the theater by myself), I was amazed by the courage and strength of our soldiers, and general Armed Forces, while watching the true historic drama. It was only 10 years later that I, myself, had the honor of putting on a Marine uniform, the service that fought so very valiantly in the Pacific theater, and elsewhere, during that war. God bless you all! Forever!
