It's time for another apology to my supporters, but more importantly to our Lord God. In past years, I actually sought the endorsement, twice, of the secular, Seattle-based, religion-mocking weekly newspaper, and I regret it. Not because I never got an endorsement from them, which in retrospect, I'm very glad I didn't, but I was so anxious to win an office that it overrode my ethical senses, to jump through the hoops of an unethical newspaper, and overrode my sense of character.
I'm making this admission in an honest effort to have a blog, read by lots of people, that's as open and candid as I can bear, which is probably not the smartest thing for a politician to do, but a relief in just being myself and bringing certain downfalls and liabilities out into the open. The Bible says the truth shall set you free, and that has proven to be very true in my experience, and I'm sure the Divine Truth. Again, as I implied in a recent post, apologies mean nothing if we don't learn from what brought them on in the first place.
