Culture Counts

This speech that was given at F.W. City Hall by Mark Greene on Apr. 17, 2018, and can be seen on YouTube (find it on the 2:14 time mark, or slightly before).
In last session's City Council meeting that was partly about preserving city order, there was no mention of Bible schools or the role of religion in the establishment of personal character, no mention of teaching ethics in the public elementary and high schools, and that could be done completely within focus of "separation of church and state" concerns, and no mention of parental or individual responsibility.
At the statehouse in Olympia, they are trumpeting their horns, holding festive bill signing celebrations and making great waves about their plans for more strangers to take care of our kids, all of which goes by the name of, quote - unquote, "Childcare."
Call me crazy, but I don't think the state should be using more taxpayer money to put children in the care of non-parental daycare centers, when the policy should be how does society do a better job in helping parents be the ones training and rearing their own children -- 24/7.
Furthermore the state doesn't have any business in trying to mandate that parents put their children in institutional education if they prefer homeschooling instead, nor does the state have any business mandating compulsory education at an earlier age than the traditional custom of first grade, or 6 years old.
You see, in society, culture counts, and the more we rely on the wisdom of the Common Man and his traditional customs and sensibilities, the better off we'll be, as opposed to the Globalist, Radical Left Wing Intelligentsia and Overlords, who demand compulsory institutionalized preschool barely after a baby can walk, and whose ideas, if left alone and unchallenged, would have Our Traditions falling within a generation, but if we're undaunted, we can renew the American Century.
Culture counts, especially when it pertains to our natural rights, and those rights are more important than states statutes or even the Constitution, and include that parents are sacrosanct when it comes to the raising of their own children, with rare exception, so help us God.
