Enough "talking" and writing: it's time to start the active campaign, which has been decided to begin on Tuesday, February 13th. Will probably start in Federal Way, rather than in one of the 30th District's smaller towns, but this campaign will "hopscotch" all over the place from day-to-day, and will definitely be in every town in the 30th District; we have the map, and will try to cover it section-by-section entirely before the General Election (probably 65% before the Primary, and 35% after). I may have to bypass a lot of apartments, since a lot them have strict no soliciting regulations, but will visit many houses, apartments & town houses (on doorsteps only; cannot accept indoor invitations due to little time to cover the entire district). Haven't been door-to-door since my Twin Cities days (ran for Minneapolis City Council in '85 and U.S. House, Minnesota 5th District, in '86), so I'll be a little rusty at the beginning.

Updated at 12:30 AM, Feb. 6, 2018; revised later on same date: basically, setting a firm date, 2/13/18, for when the active campaign will begin. Hope there'll be decent weather that day, as that would be a good way to start the active campaign.
