My state representative website added more quotes from wise leaders from the past, namely, Confucius, Sojourner Truth and Geronimo were added to the list with John Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Janis Joplin and Ronald Reagan. For the exact quotes listed, see the "About section."
In recent years, particularly in 2011, Geronimo was insulted and defamed by the Obama-run Defense Department, using his name as a nickname for a notorious terrorist. Shame on that administration for doing that, because Geronimo was a freedom fighter, not a terrorist. That's one of the reasons why I put Geronimo's name on this short list of great and wise leaders from the past, mostly American.
Note: Also new on the website's "About section,' a complete history of my election history from Michigan to Washington (1976 - 2017), including a foreword, that I hope will also be read.
Post-script: Though, it would be nice, I'm not going to win an election by just writing on a blog; so the active campaign will be starting real soon, and in all honesty, this 2018 campaign will, likely, be one of my last best chances to win it all; in other words, going beyond just winning primaries and becoming an officeholder. Time will tell.
