Going Door-To-Door

I'm starting to feel a little better, today, than when I wrote my previous post; thank God.  I am even going to do some calisthenics after I finish this post.  "Rogue-ner" said that I wouldn't be able to do door-to-door campaigning, because I don't have a car (true, but I have a drivers' license, and rent vehicles every now and then).  I'll be proving him wrong this year, because I've decided that a big part of my campaign will be door-to-door (something that I haven't done in Washington before, but have done, at times, in Michigan and Minnesota).

This campaign will be buying some of those handle-type literature pieces, especially when nobody's home when volunteers or I ring the bell.  Hopefully, the campaign budget will be able to afford at least ten thousand of those, and this campaign can always use contributions.  For now, just send a check or money order to the Mark Greene for Representative Committee, P.O. Box 25781, Federal Way, WA 98093.

I won't be accepting invitations to go inside anybody's home, without exception, but hope that I can engage in some good, old-fashioned discussions about issues and concerns on the doorsteps.  The door-to-door campaign probably won't start until the warmer weather comes.
