An Uniquely American Holiday

Thanksgiving has a special meaning to Americans, because it's our holiday, uniquely, and a time to give thanks for so many things.  A time to be humble, a time to think about the wonders of the past, and the family, friends, acquaintances and strangers who may have helped to make the past, present, and promise of the future something to be thankful for.  A time to say thank you for the grace of God, because in doing so, we cannot help but to attract the good will of His mercy.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I toned down a previously written post a little, particularly, at the end.  I really shouldn't be writing posts between midnight and sunrise.  [Now, completely removed after Thanksgiving along with its name-calling.]

God bless America ... and the world!
