Taking Steps Towards a General Election Campaign

There will be an announcement coming within a day or two regarding the probable advent of a write-in campaign by me for the Federal Way City Council, Position 6.  Scores of new signs have already been ordered, and believe me, if the announcement is for a campaign, the signs will be more prevalent, and much better managed and organized than in the mayoral campaign.  Thousands of hand-out cards have been ordered as well, and the write-in campaign is set to go if a positive announcement is made, and one is quite likely to be made, soon.  PDC forms may be sent out this week, and will be available for public viewing this week or next.  My biggest problems besides "Ferrell-endorsed" liberal candidates, Moore & Flygare, will be the poor, failing Federal Way Mirror's "Mr. Anonymous" and "Rogue-ner."  By the way, even though Mr. Moore is a Republican, he's still a liberal from the Globalist camp.

For anybody who thinks this would be just a little airing of disgruntlement coming off of a mayoral campaign that didn't quite get off the ground, they will be very disappointed when they find out this could be a full-fledged, active "write-in" campaign, with emphasis on the word "active."  I have a feeling that because of the timing and circumstances of the two separate campaigns, which more often than not are uncontrollable, the All-American Relief write-in campaign will be a little more active than the All-American Relief mayoral campaign.

The number that really got me thinking about a new campaign, a Common Man's campaign, is 34.  That is all the percentage I need to win if Moore and Flygare break pretty much evenly.  Watch for the announcement tomorrow or Thursday!

Susan Honda and I received a combined and exact 5,000 votes for mayor compared to Ferrell's 6,500 (Update: 8/16/17: all these numbers have increased a little since posting: Greene: 758; Honda: 4244; Ferrell: 6501).  It's a nice gap, but not one big enough for Mr. Ferrell to get too comfortable about the General Election.  A general election that the Revived Citizens Party is endorsing Susan Honda for Mayor and Diana Noble-Gulliford for Council, Position 4, and is set to help our/my possible write-in campaign as well.

-- Mark Greene, Revived Citizens Party Chairman and Official Candidate for Mayor of Federal Way
