The Federal Way Mayoral Debate (Primary)

I had a good time at the debate, and thanks to everybody that attended or otherwise looked or listened in (through social media).  I stressed my points as someone who would be an environmentally-conscious mayor who would work for new solutions to 21st Century problems, not the same old, stagnated policies; and also, importantly, at the very beginning of the debate, implied that I would uphold the values of our country regardless of the demands of the rest of the world to change us into globalists and internationalists rather than the independent nation that we should be.

Regarding my closing statement, it could have been crystallized better, but the point that I was trying to get across was that the promise of Federal Way, as one of many cities in America, should include a fun spirit that emboldens all of the other human tributes, such as creativity, artistry and the industriousness to solve the hard problems that have and will continue to come our way in the 21st Century, just as in all the centuries before us.

Remember, I just need second place in the 3-way First Round, so 30% should do it, and then we'll go for 50%-plus-1 in the General.  Thank you.

Note:  the debate can be seen on the Federal Way Mirror's Facebook page (look for the mayoral debate/forum section on their page).
