Aged Journo-Activist Escapes From Asylum

Breaking News: APB: Federal Way Mirror columnist, Bob Roegner, a.k.a. "Rogue-ner," somehow got loose from his grayish-beige straitjacket!

Semi-professional charlatan and propagandist, the lanky, silver-haired, balding "Rogue-ner," spews out yet more distortion and falsehoods while on the run from his medical overseers, otherwise known as shrinks.

Speaking of  "persistence," the aptly named rogue political columnist insists on reminding voters, time and again, that Mark Greene has lived in other states besides Washington, as if that was a crime.  Nonetheless, most Federal Way voters already know that Mark was born in Michigan, and served in the Marines, thereby prompting a shrugging of shoulders at hearing "Rogue-ner's" gripe since Michigan is part of America, and realizing that being in the military -- practically by definition -- means living in more than one state at some point.

While "Rogue-ner" mocks Mark for riding a bicycle (Greene also has a Washington drivers license, incidentally), someone should remind "The Rogue-ster," once he's recaptured, that one of Portland, Oregon's most famous and best mayors, Bud Clark (mid-1980s - 90s), was a bicyclist as well, and the Bud Clark Commons in Portland provides housing for the homeless, and could be a model for helping Federal Way's down-and-out.

"Rogue-ner" comes up with more sleaze than a bat out of Hell, with the occasional compliment, so as not to appear too roguish, though he knows practically nothing about what Mark Greene knows or doesn't know.

Voters can read about Mark's knowledge of city government through a 2015 questionnaire, turned into an essay by Mark, that he wrote for the chameleon, "Rogue-ner"-like Municipal League of King County, which mysteriously decided not to publish questionnaires handed over to them that year, but give the devil his due, as the Muny League qualified Greene for the King County Council in 2009.

Anybody who has read Greene's writings & blogs over the years, knows that Mark Greene knows government quite well.  By the way, the propagandist failed to mention that Mark was not just a candidate for office in Alaska, he was the winner of two primaries for U.S. Representative there, including the last statewide Alaskan Open Primary (before the Supreme Court changed primary rules, circa 2002), and 2-time Democratic Party nominee ('00 & '02).  The Anchorage Daily News published Greene's letters in Sept. of '02 that opposed the drum beat to invade Iraq, something that most commentators say today was the worst foreign policy decision of our lifetime -- if not in history -- seeing how it destabilized the Middle East, and now Europe, so thoroughly.

Post-script:  After "Rogue-ner" is recaptured, somebody please donate a snazzy cane, a rocking chair, and a brand new TV to the asylum, so that "The Rogue-ster" can watch countless Jerry Springer Shows in style.  Thanks so much!  😊
