Operation May: The Greene mayoral campaign has three main goals for the month of May. (1.) Raise enough money by May 19 to make sure Greene is on the ballot (still 700 dollars short), and not be reduced to a write-in campaign. But if it has to be a write-in campaign, it will be a serious and vigorous one which would officially start on August 2nd, including handing out 5000 campaign cards to Federal Wayans. (2.) Have a press release ready for the May 19th official mayoral candidacy announcement by Mark Greene, but that may be postponed, again, until August 2nd, if it's a write-in campaign. (3.) Have every one of our scores of signs (about 100) on the ground before June 1st, but that might be changed to a more gradual pace (extended deadline) if this turns out to be a write-in campaign. By the way, some of our signs are being intentionally damaged, so please make a report to the Federal Way Police Department if you see anything untoward and can identify a perpetrator.
