Help Mark Greene Get On the Ballot
Federal Way could well be on the verge of having an uncontested mayoral election, with Mayor Jim Ferrell being the only person on the ballot, unless the People of Federal Way rally around the exploratory mayoral campaign of Mark Greene through campaign donations and general support. It's expensive to get on the ballot, over a thousand dollars are necessary, so if at all possible, send your 5 or 10 dollar donations to the Mark Greene for Mayor Exploratory Committee, a committee that is listed under the state's Public Disclosure Commission. Naturally, Chamber of Commerce-types are not going to be donating to a people's candidate like Mark Greene -- those thousands of dollars all go into Ferrell's coffers, of course; a mayor who is in Big Business's pocket. The active campaign for mayor is not far off, so the sooner you can help Mark, the better.
