If I'm elected mayor of Federal Way next year, I may try to move City Hall, which would need Council approval, to the old Weyerhaeuser property, where I think citizens would most enjoy participating in the governmental functions of the city. The present location of City Hall is out of the way, not all that quiet/serene, practically inaccessible by public transportation, and with the police department and municipal court nearby, too many government agencies in one small area.
Another advantage to moving City Hall there: less likely for the mayor -- whoever happens to be mayor -- to be as nonchalant or blase about what kind of businesses or tenants would be sharing the general grounds with him/her there, as the present mayor is about a rather unsuitable-for-the-area business making plans to settle there presently.
