Mark Greene will be starting a Mayoral Exploratory Committee (City of Federal Way). More news on this in the coming days as the Exploratory Committee continues watching this year's Primary Election numbers.
Update: August 4, 2016: Mark Greene is starting an exploratory committee for Mayor of Federal Way, but hopes that eventually either Kelly Maloney or Susan Honda will run instead. Mark would prefer to gather experience on the Council rather than run for mayor; however, one thing the committee is determined to see through, from either the efforts of Mark/committee, or by a draft of another candidate, the phony Democrat, Jim Ferrell, will not run for re-election unopposed.
It will pretty much have to be either Maloney or Honda that runs in place of a possible candidacy by Mark Greene, not just any other candidate; otherwise there may be a 2017 Primary. However, if there is somebody besides Maloney or Honda that looks serious and is in sync with the Citizens Party's philosophy, there's a possibility, though slight, that Mark, if he ran, would defer to somebody other than Maloney and Honda.
Ferrell's policies generally are terrible, and one thing is for sure, to paraphrase a slogan from Ferrell's '13 campaign: "Indeed, we can do better."
