Habib vrs. Hobbs: "Global Citizen" vrs. "Blue Dog" Dem.

Two Awful Choices

Two of my major opponents in the Lieutenant Governor race, if I decide to run, would be Washington state legislators Cyrus Habib & Steve Hobbs, as they battle to win ascendancy among their Democratic Party partisans.  They are both bad news for Washingtonians that want a people's oriented government not tied to Establishment or Internationalist interests.

  • Cyrus Habib is the candidate of the global citizen/internationalist economic vanguard in which American interests play second fiddle to the worldwide economic system, as other countries get a say in how we run business in our own nation through internationalist trade pacts, treaties, and interference in our elections.
  • Steve Hobbs is a classic example of how the Democratic Party, which famously became divided in the last generation between the progressive wing and the "Boll Weevil"/"Blue Dog" wing (Hobb's inclination) through 90's Clintonite regulations & laws that undermined the "Party of the People's" principles, made common cause with the avaricious corporate Establishment that unfortunately brought us, in the last quarter century, genetically modified food, huge wage disparities, gentrification, fracking, and plans for an expanded nuclear energy horizon.
Rejecting both of these candidates and others worst or not much better, I'm starting my own exploratory committee for lieutenant governor, a candidacy that would be based on an American platform in which you will never hear the term "globalization" uttered by me, positively.
