Not Requesting a Re-visit of the Primary, However
Believe it or not, Anthony Murrietta might have new political life, thanks to my soon-to-be-filed court case. If a federal judge throws out the short-term and regular term elections due to the precedent set in Bush v. Gore that says "different standards of counting" are unconstitutional, he or she may find it legally necessary to order both a primary and a general election for the regular term. The judge, whoever it turns out to be, will likely not bother with the "short term" since the calendar will make that pretty much obsolete, if not altogether so. If the Primary returns (and who knows if the judge might re-open candidate filing, which would make the election open to the entire F.W. citizenry), I will have to be in Primary election mode, again. Hopefully, the court will settle only for a new General Election, and not extend its order to a new Primary.
