Roegner on Position 1: Mediocre At Best

Well ... Bob Roegner, in his article about the Position 1 Federal Way City Council race, essentially told everybody who he was going to vote for (surprise, surprise, surprise), but even though he wasn't 100% with the facts, at least he was about 90% right, although he went out of his way to write about irrelevancies.  As for his article saying that I lacked long-time roots in Federal Way, even though he acknowledged that my roots in FW extend back to 2002, is ironic, especially considering that the article didn't mention Lydia Assefa-Dawson's initial year in Federal Way, which likely is several years later than 2002.

Except for those aforementioned points, Roegner's article wasn't as slanted as I thought it would be, but this ex-Mayor/journalist should get over his fetish for the Municipal League (I'm hoping some reporter will do an in depth article about them someday, but don't look for it to come from "Mr. Establishment.")

Note:  Roegner's article correctly stated that my given name, Mark, is from the Bible.  One vivid memory of some of my most earliest readings of the Gospel of Mark is detailed in this Party of Commons'/Revived Citizens Party's "Senator" blog post, dated April 26, 2009.
