Post-Primary: One Good Period

I have been so stuck in the quagmire of reacting to Mirror stuff (innuendo, distortions, falsehoods, etc.) after my Top 2 finish, that I almost forgot that this a good period for me, being in the General Election, and I want to take this opportunity, again, to thank the 30% of the electorate that helped me finish second.  By the way, the whole post-candidate forum discussion (the July 8, 2015 forum) has been taken out of proportion a little since that day, but the innuendo is getting even more out of hand (see post addendum in previous post).  However, one of the more astute and better councilmembers on the Council, Kelly Maloney, didn't buy into all the exaggerations and distortions by columnists and so forth, and was the only city official to greet me AFTER the debate (a few greeted me before the debate, too).

Unfortunately, this little Council Run blog has to react to any Mirror falsehoods that may come about in the near future, because it's the best I can do against the most powerful publication in Federal Way.  You would think they would just accept the results of the election and move on, but as I said earlier, apparently I have more than just one opponent.

However, I won't let the Mirror spoil my post-Primary mood too much, it's still a great period for me, and I'm looking forward to being on the Council after the November 3rd election ... with your continued support, and new support from others.  Thank you!

-- Mark Greene, Candidate for Federal Way City Council, Position 1
