"Tycoon" Sends Grand to Murrietta

According to PDC records, a Teamster union boss donated $950, nearly a grand, to Federal Way City Council (Position 1) candidate, Anthony Murrietta.  This just goes to show that all the stops are being pulled by some union bosses to get their union brethren (fellow bosses) into elected office, and that union boss, Murrietta, will have no shortage of cash for his campaign.  With the primary being only a short few months away, the Greene for Council Committee won't be a bit surprised if Murrietta yard signs start springing up all over Federal Way, not to mention Murrietta literature coming to your mail boxes, but thanks to this Council Run blog, at least you know, and will continue to know, where all the money for those signs/literature came from.

Despite the waves of cash and outside FW influences coming into this Pos. 1 race for Murrietta, and probably to the appointed incumbent eventually, the Greene campaign is trying our best to stay competitive.  Your $5 or $10 contributions will help in that regard.  This campaign may not be able to afford signs, but has a tremendous grassroots spirit and will use contributions for fliers, leaflets, buttons and post cards.  Don't let this campaign for the people be strong-armed out of this race.  Thank you!

Post-script:  Please, mail us a copy of any Murrietta (or Assefa-Dawson) literature that you may come upon:  P.O. Box 25781, Federal Way, WA 98093.  This campaign needs to see it.  Their campaigns will likely keep our address out of any mail-outs that they do.  Thanks!
