Unholy Alliance 2.0

Just found out today, by happenstance, that Bob Roegner is on the Board of Directors of the Municipal League of King County.  That would have been very convenient information had I known that during the 2015 Federal Way City Council Elections, since Roegner, the Mirror's political columnist, was practically like a gold miner who discovered a pot of gold when he was writing about the League's rating of me that year, and generally gushing about them at that time and since, as if he was their president.  No, he's not quite president, but pretty much on the same rung of the totem pole.

The news that FW Politics discovered today shows that "Rogue-ner" didn't discover gold in 2015, but already had some nuggets in his pocket, ready to smelt into form through the League's ratings, and through his sleazy columns, where contrary to journalistic ethics, he didn't disclose that he was on the Board; at least not in an outwardly way, and definitely not in every column that he mentioned the League, if at all.  Very likely, no disclosure at all.

Don't know when Roegner joined the Board of Directors, but whether before or after the 2015 Elections, little did I know when writing my "Unholy Alliance" essay many months ago, how shady and real of an alliance it actually was.
