The electioneering at Federal Way City Hall was so blatant last night, and probably illegal, that it just so happened that 2 of the 3 people given awards are running for state legislative positions this year. Forgot to mention in the last post that Claire Wilson was also given a proclamation for her sex/gender & public service, too (as was Kristine Reeves). It's obvious that the 2017 election finally put a "Democrat" majority on the Council, though just barely. Republicans need to work hard in the 30th District to regain legislative seats and start calling out these shady award schemes.
