I officially filed my candidacy for Federal Way City Council, Position 1, today, with the Elections Department. There were a few hiccups, more to do with Elections than me, but those should be straightened out in a day or two. All of the FW Council candidates that were registered with PDC before filing week have accordingly followed through by the end of Tuesday afternoon -- no surprises. It's looks like Position 1 will have the only primary, but nothing is certain until filing ends on Friday. I need to concentrate on the actual voters more than paying attention to the media and the Municipal League. Speaking of the Muny League, they turned down my proposal through an email, today, and did not offer a compromise, so that's that, but I'll nonetheless answer their questionnaire on my own and put it up on this blog, probably about the same time that they release their ratings, if not sooner.
