The 30th District needs someone of Mark Koppang's caliber to run against Mike Pellicciotti for Position 1, Washington House of Representatives. As far as I can see, Mark is one of the few Republicans or almost-Republicans in the district that stand a chance of beating Pellicciotti; Bob Celski, whom I voted for a few months ago, is another. I would love to see Mark run against Pellicciotti, and in the 9th Congressional District, Bob run against Adam Smith (a mediocrity that has been in Congress way too long, and apparently is planning on being congressman-for-life). I really believe a G.O.P. "All-Mark" slate in the 30th District would attract attention and topple the Reeves - Pellicciotti Machine, and with Bob in D.C., that would be great.
Post-script: By the way, it's just a matter of time before I get off of the computer, so to speak, and start getting out on the hustings (so a little fewer postings on this blog in the near future is probably a good thing). It would be great if I could win an election from the comfort of my living room, but that's not going to happen. Have to work, and believe me, that really active campaign will come before February gets here.
