Ferrell's Meager Hiring Proposal Compared to Greene's More Robust One

Ferrell is Only Trying to Hire 9 New Police Officers, My Proposal is for Forty New Officers

In last year's Council election, I proposed the hiring of 40 new police officers for Federal Way.  Mayor Jim Ferrell is only trying to hire 9 new officers, according to the latest edition of the Mirror newspaper.  Ferrell's proposal would only add 2 officers per shift, and 1 or 2 extra detectives, whereas my proposal would add 8 officers per shift, plus 3 or 4 detectives to investigate crimes.  Which plan is better?  Mine or Ferrell's?  You decide in next year's Mayoral election.
