F.W. Mirror columnist, Bob Roegner, doesn't necessarily have to write about me to give misinformation to Mirror readers, as he recently wrote that Kristine Reeves and Teri Hickel were statistically tied in the recent State Representative Primary for District 30, Position 2. No, they were not tied: Kristine Reeves received 10,412 votes and Teri Hickel received 10,344 votes; a difference of 68 votes in Reeves' favor. Percentage-wise, the Secretary of State's website had Reeves with 50.1%, but Hickel with 49.8% (they suggested that write-in votes were not figured into these percentages).
By the way, it was fairly obvious in last year's City Council election for Position 1, that Hickel was supporting Lydia Assefa-Dawson over me, and Assefa-Dawson was definitely supporting Hickel over her co-Democrat, Carol Gregory (if anybody really believes that Assefa-Dawson is a Democrat; a stretch, to say the least). I am neither a Democrat or a Republican, but a member of the Revived Citizens Party.
