I recently found out that the court will be open on the day after Thanksgiving, as that was in doubt by me as late as a couple of days ago, so I'm delaying the filing of this case, again (yet another change about when I will file this case). Of course, there is a sense of urgency to get this on the court docket as soon as possible, but I'm deliberately choosing correctness of the papers that will be filed over quickness and hurry. I would rather not have an Amended Complaint or other redone work if I can avoid it. It's very easy to make a mistake with court work, as there are so many painstaking details to worry about.
I am only aware of a handful of judges in the Western District of Washington, so I really don't have a favorite over there as to which one that I prefer to hear this case (judges are chosen randomly once cases are filed). I have to admit that I like Coughenour, however, because he seems to go out of his way to be fair, even if you don't necessarily agree with his rulings. The case is all but ready to go in spite of delays, and anybody who has ever read pronouncements from me on these blogs about what I plan to do in the political sense, are quite aware that I follow through about 95% of the time.
