Carrie Rodriguez, the editor of the Federal Way Mirror, should fire her political columnist, Bob Roegner, rather than let him continue to sully the reputation of the Mirror with his weekly concoction of innuendo, weird speculation, distortions and out and out lies. Better to hire somebody right out of college, with a degree in journalism or political science, and that may not be as knowledgeable about local politics, than to let a hack with little journalistic skills continue prattling on about rumors from unnamed sources and settling scores with candidates that apparently rub him the wrong way, among other missteps not becoming of a real journalist that the Mirror could do without.
