Municipal League Ignores State's Biggest Election, Even Though It's Right In Their Midst
Joking a little, but they might have a fascination for a certain politician, such as yours truly, now that they are ignoring the state's biggest election this year, which
is the county Director of Elections election, which they didn't ignore in 2011
when I ran for Director, but they are putting their noses in
Federal Way's council elections, one of only three suburban cities that they
have decided to practice their "expertise" in, and one with less than 100,000
people as opposed to the county's more than a million. Again, "Reason before
giving blind faith."
New Article (July 7, 2015): A Farewell to the Municipal League of King County
After giving their readers the wrong impression that I'm some kind of secret Democrat, the FW Mirror still has not cleared up, before the election, that I'm not this secret or semi Democrat that their political columnist, Mr. Roegner, all but tagged me as. Although, last year, the Mirror did mention my party correctly, the Revived Citizens Party, when I ran for representative; so one out of two is great if you're a hitter in baseball's major leagues, but for the press, below par. I wasn't even emphasizing "parties" much in this non-partisan election for Council until it started to be implied in the Mirror that I am something that I'm not, and haven't been for more than a decade, so I have no choice but to talk about my party affiliation just to get it on the record correctly. Lydia Assefa-Dawson and Anthony Murrietta are the Democrats in this race, not me.
