The Seattle Times reported today that Rep. Kristine Reeves' friend, at least political friend, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, has formed an alliance with Congressman Adam Smith, and are sponsoring a bill to shut down I.C.E., our nation's valued immigration enforcement agency. A very appalling maneuver that will go nowhere in the overall Congress, of course, and another aspect of the Democratic Party's new, radicalized condition, which even Bernie Sanders doesn't approve. Jayapal's and Smith's "Open Borders" gambit, even in the face of a Harvard - Harris poll that shows more than 75% of Americans don't approve Open Borders, is high risk politics for Jayapal's and Smith's feckless, sub-par political careers, and should be a great boost for their respective Congressional challengers, Craig Keller (Congressional District 7), and Doug Basler and quasi-radical Sarah Smith (Congressional District 9).
Jayapal and Adam Smith can say it's not Open Borders until they're blue in the face, but their plan is exactly Open Borders, and we think most people won't buy their bamboozle. "Open Borders" is an anti-patriotic, Globalist idea that would put a relatively quick end to our constitutional republic if it ever got off the ground and saw the light of day. Open Borders goes beyond just radicalism; it's treason, actually. It's hard to believe, according to that Harvard - Harris poll, that even 24% go along with such a radical, end-of-nation plan. That old saying, be careful what you pray for really applies.
