Almost All In

The odds of my running for Mayor of Federal Way are about 9 out of 10, so I am pretty much in, even though my committee name still has the "exploratory" tag, for now (I will change that sometime in the spring, maybe a week or two before filing).  My slogan for the mayoral campaign, "All-American Relief," will be put on campaign paraphernalia.

Ferrell's maneuvers for a fish processing plant, or any industrial plant at all, on the former Weyerhaeuser Campus will be kaput if I am elected mayor, as long as it can be legally stopped by January, 2018.  I would have my City Attorney stop the factory by any legal means possible -- believe me.   Instead of a fish processing plant, there will be an environmental research center at "Weyerhaeuser" instead, in which top American scientists, engineers and environmentalists will work on solutions to the most vexing environmental problems of our time, including the gargantuan garbage dump in the middle of the Pacific ocean; landfill, waste and recycling problems; and of course, global warming & climate change.  This could well be the legacy of the transition from Weyerhaeuser to a new landlord if I'm elected.

ADDENDUM:  New GMO Labeling Initiative Coming in March: Field Manager Needed: Website

The Respect for Mother Nature Committee of Washington will be preparing a new GMO labeling bill despite the so-called labeling law, which "milquetoast" is too strong a term for, that passed in Congress last year, with Obama's signature.  Of course, they used an Orwellian name to describe what is really an anti-labeling law, which unconstitutionally restricts states from passing actual labeling laws, including preempting Vermont's law, the sole state that has ever passed a GMO labeling law.  Help the RMNCW get this on the ballot, and once passed, enlist the Attorney General to defend the law, on 10th Amendment grounds, over Congress's 2015 restrictions.
