Original post: The Federal Way Mirror newspaper keeps showcasing their anonymous columnist's month-and-a-half ago rant about me, and probably because they know it's a crock that mostly helps my opponent, as it's not only a rant which insults voters that chose not to follow the Mirror's Primary endorsements, but unflattering innuendo, which of course is not described, because there is nothing to describe except viewpoints that their columnist doesn't care for.
Then if one columnist being anti-my campaign wasn't enough, they have a 2nd one, Bob Roegner, who after writing so much distortion, innuendo and falsehoods regarding me, had the nerve to ask me a series of questions, a good portion of which that you just know he wasn't asking other Council candidates. After reluctantly, and going against the grain, answering 80 to 90 per cent of his questions, I decided to stop answering his questions until, perhaps, after the election.
No other Council candidate for election, retention, or re-election this year has had to put up with this from this newspaper, so henceforth, the Mirror will be less prominent on this blog, and by extension my campaign, as much as possible, but I will still have to answer any more falsehoods that come out of there, through this blog, since it is the best that I can do to defend myself against their falsehoods.
There will be no General Election editorial interview (as if they had any intention of endorsing me anyway), no more answering questions from either their official or unofficial columnists, no advertisements on their newspaper, and concerning attending the debate/answering other Mirror journalists' questions, that's up in the air.
I'm expecting they'll do everything they can to help my opponent by continuing their campaign of innuendo and distortion against me, and propping up that campaign. Unfortunately, this blog became more or less "Mirrorized" after the primary as that was by necessity in order to respond to the Mirror's crassness and lack of objectivity after my "Top 2" finish.
