Assefa-Dawson Goes Republican, Again

That's At Least 3 Republicans She's Endorsed In 2 Calendar Years

While going on Republican Candidate Teri Hickel's website to find out if it was really true that Lydia Assefa-Dawson endorsed her, I went to Hickel's endorsement page and gazed to the middle of the list looking for names, and initially had a hard time finding Assefa-Dawson's name, because lo and behold Lydia Assefa-Dawson's name was the very first name on Hickel's list of endorsers.  I couldn't believe it, but there it was in black and white.  Assefa-Dawson, a proclaimed Democrat, but kind of fake when you look at the facts, endorsed a Republican for State Senate last year, thus helping the Republicans win outright control of the Washington Senate for the first time in years.  Now, with the Republicans within two or three seats of taking control of the Washington House of Representatives, and thereby the entire Legislature, alleged Democrat Assefa-Dawson is back to the same old business of having her cake (telling everybody she's a Democrat) and eating it too (helping Republicans gain powerful positions and control of Legislative chambers), while garnering Republican support and the support of Democrats who are not aware of her two-sided game.

Don't let these facts be not well known.  Spread the word through social media, letters to the editor and word-of-mouth about Republican-esque Assefa-Dawson, who may be hoping that the supporters of Carol Gregory and Democrats in general are not noticing her cozying up to the Republican Party.

--- Mark Greene, Candidate for Federal Way City Council, Position 1

Note:  Mark Greene is neither a Republican or a Democrat, but a member of the Revived Citizens Party, an offshoot, fledgling party of the old Citizens Party of the 1970s & 80s, founded by the late environmentalist, Barry Commoner.  Greene will be voting for Carol Gregory.
